Breakfast was awful both days - but rooms were nice minus the AC unit that was incredibly loud and disturbed our sleep. Elevator was sketchy but overall it's good for the price. Maybe go out to breakfast though.
My cousin and I have stayed at this location before. It had been about 2 years since our last visit and the facility has been renovated. Greeted, hot cider was available near the front desk. Bottled water offered as well. We booked a 2 queen bed suite on the 4th floor. Location provided for a quiet stay for the most part. Some noisy folks came through Friday and Saturday night close to 11 PM. Our room just seemed sparse. The kitchen was so so. counter space, bare wall. The living room area, the sofa bed, table and lamp, a chair and ottoman. The wall where the television was, blank. The bedroom area had the 2 beds, night stand, tv on a dresser. Not much as far as decor in the bedroom area either. Nice large shower stall was probably the nicest part of the suite. No desk and chair. The kitchen peninsula had 2 chairs. The rooms seemed nicer when we were here 2 years ago. The location is nice, places you can walk to for dinner and you can browse the Christmas Mouse that is in walking distance. The rooms were just kind of blah, lacked an inviting kind of a feeling. I just don't know how else to describe it. It was clean, but lacked decor and some finishing touches in the flooring, kitchen area from the remodel it seemed. Did not partake of the breakfast offered each morning as we were traveling to the beach area both days to a wine festival. Was better for us to drive to beach and do a good breakfast there and be set for the day. It was an okay stay but it just lacked the furnishings to make it more of a homey kind of stay.
