This was a definetely a triple A rated Resort, You really could not want for anything as far as food or drinks were conserned. The pools were great and set up as a kids pool with all the normal activities such as volleyball etc. and the other pool
more +was more laid back and more quite for the adults, not that the kids could not go in, they just had to be more quite and laid back.
There were many resturants such as Italian, Mexican, Asian, and what they called the Grill by the pool. They also had a buffet set up for those in a hurry to eat and explore. We did not have a bad meal at any of the resturants, they were all top notch. A Room service menu was also available at any time, 24 hours a day.
There were cynotes on the resort, these are fresh water rivers that flowed into the ocean. They were used for snorkeling and swimming and kayaking. These were really cool and tours were provided daily and you could go on as many as you wanted for free!!
The beach is still being worked on so it was not the best beach in Mexico. It was still nice and you could go swimming. The ocean was not as salty as usual due to the three rivers flowing in where you were swimming.
The rooms were top notch and brand new with huge bathroom and plenty of room, also balcony on each room.
They are still adding many thing to this resort, such as rock climbing walls and Zip Lines, which will give the teenagers more options to meet kids their own age. This was the only drawback for 16 year olds, there really wasn't anyplace to have the kids their age meet such as a disco or anything to get to know the other kids their age.
The kids club for ages 3-12 were great, they kept your kids busy from 10 a.m. thru 6 p.m. if this is what they wanted to do. My daughter had a great time and had about 9 girlfriends before we left.
The resort was trying to sell ownership weeks so we did have to sit thru a 90 minute presentation. We did not purchase as we do not have that kind of Money to spend. At the end they did offer us another visit at a good price so we did buy this and will be returning sometime during the next 2 years.
