Dreams Los Cabos is an all-suite resort, and each suite offers a private terrace overlooking the sea. You can choose from one, two or three bedrooms which vary in size from 650 to 1650 square feet. Amenity highlights include a beverage fridge that is re-stocked daily, a luxury bath equipped with robes and slippers, a flat-screen satellite television with DVD player, and a complimentary movie collection.
Stayed here a week with several friends. Everyone was pleasant but the feeling was that they had just opened and were working out the staffing issues and it is not a new resort..
Room wasn't correct, pushed 2 queens together called it a king, the rooms were not stocked on arrival, the food was good but the meals took a long time because the service was so slow. It just seemed like there were not enough of them.
The beach was beautiful but the sand was very coarse and you could not go into the water. Black flagged for undertow.
My pet peeve was the hot tub closed with the pool at 8pm and we never finished dinner until after 8pm and could not enjoy the hot tub after dinner under the stars.
The staff was extremely friendly and the service was amazing. We especially appreciated the delicious and expertly made drinks by Jonathan and Nohemi, the unreal poolside service of Hectar and Raul and of course the daily friendly greetings by Oscar. The a la carte restaurants were all delicious and there was always something for everyone at the buffet. A truly enjoyable experience!
The resort is located on a scenic beach, but the shoreline here is too rough for swimming. So while there are plenty of water sports available, ocean swimming is out. But that's not to say you can't swim: Dreams has three large pools, one just for the kids with a Jacuzzi and a slide.
Several activities are included in the all-inclusive rate, including an oceanfront putting green, pilates, yoga, biking, cooking classes, cocktail lessons, archery, and even the releasing of baby sea turtles seasonally. The resort also hosts musical guests and shows as well as big screen outdoor movies under the stars. Some of the off-resort activities that are available for an extra fee include Scuba lessons, swimming with dolphins, horseback riding, whale and sea lion watching, and parasailing.
Dreams has a children's program for potty-trained children ages 3 to 12. Use of this Explorer's Club is included in your room rate; and kids will take part in activities that vary by age, like splashing around on the ocean trampoline, treasure hunts, sand castle contests, movies under the stars, and even a camp out once a week. Babysitting is available for a fee.
The property also has a full-service spa and fitness center.
Dreams Los Cabos has resort has five restaurants and four lounges, and dining is all-inclusive. El Patio buffet is open for breakfast and lunch and features a good selection; it also hosts theme nights including Caribbean, Mexican, Italian, Tex Mex, Grill night, and Fisherman's night. The dress code is casual and there is an outdoor patio. The Seaside Grill is located near the infinity pool and serves steaks and other grilled specialties a la carte and kids are welcomed here as well. Parents looking for a dress up night with the kids or alone can look to the Himitsu, Pan Asian and Hibachi a la carte restaurant with an authentic Asian culinary experience and exotic specialties from Japan, China and Thailand.
