Part of the Joie de Vivre collection of boutique hotels, the Galleria Park Hotel is located in the heart of Union Square within walking distance to Chinatown and the Financial District. Sleek and stylish rooms, recently renovated, feature flat-screen TVs and complimentary Wi-Fi access. Deluxe rooms with two full beds or two queens are biggest for families, although the Park Suite with a king bedroom and a living room with queen pullout sofa also provides space, as well as living and dining space and a skyline view. The pet-friendly hotel has an urban garden for walking and enjoy outdoor space, and families can dine in the French-inspired restaurant, Gaspar, which is open for lunch and dinner. Room service is available and a complimentary wine hour is offered nightly.

Given that the overall market of San Francisco is expensive, the hotel isn't a bad option to stay in. The location is great, most of the staff was friendly, and it was clean. In my opinion, however, you don't get the value that you pay for here in terms of the physical accommodations. The rooms are incredibly small, and the advertisements aren't entirely accurate on bed size, either. If you're looking for plenty of space, or staying for an extended trip, I would recommend looking elsewhere for this price.

Fantastic old charm to this property. Roof terrace was nice to go outside and enjoy the buildings lit up at night. Easy walking to all venues. Would highly recommend this property for a business trip.
