Great Stay at Hotel Triton

by tomgolf

Thank you to Luis, Britt, Alex, Sinnga and the rest of the staff at Hotel Triton. I spent 5-night combining business and pleasure. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. The lobby is very comfortable and inviting. The room was clean and had everything we needed. I really appreciate when the staff goes above and beyond to be helpful and equally important, FRIENDLY!. (especially in a big city like SF) Thank you again... I hope to return soon.

Great location, wonderful staff

We celebrated the first night of our honey moon at the Hotel Triton en route to Cuba!
In general the hotel was wonderful, really cool interior, great location, wonderful staff.
We were greeted with champagne in our room and upgraded due to our honey moon which was a lovely touch.

The only downside is when we arrived in San Fran airport after travelling from Australia, we received an email saying that our reservation had been cancelled. We had obviously been without Wifi for the better part of 15 hrs and so had no idea what had happened and became very stressed! We decided to just show up at the hotel and hope for the best.
When we arrived we had a very helpful staff member rectify the issue quickly and apologise (a well as bribe us with chocolate lol) - there was some issue regarding which card the room had been booked on, easily fixed in person - but to not have an email prior to cancellation saying "if you do not blah blah your room will be cancelled" and instead just having an email of "your reservation has been cancelled" is a pretty poor practice, and especially stressful for international travellers!

Other than that our experience was great and would definitely recommend this hotel. The rooms are smaller than expected but clean and tidy, and the location is well worth it.
Thanks for having us!
