Business travel took me to Williamsburg, and as an IHG member, I prefer Holiday Inn Express hotels. This was lived up to my expectations - clean and reasonably priced. I typically do not avail myself of the amenities, although I did enjoy the complimentary breakfast this trip (which was consistent with other Holiday Inn Express hotels.) The room was quiet, comfortable and CLEAN. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Ample parking (even when checking in between 5-6pm) let me park fairly close to the front of the hotel. The front desk staff was polite and engaging, and my check-in experience was quick and accurate.
I'd definitely stay here again.
Two Tiffany bracelets disappeared from my room. The hotel staff was COMPLETELY indifferent.
The Tiffany bracelets disappeared right from my locked room! They were placed in an outer zippered compartment of my suitcase in the morning, not clearly visible to anyone. Then, they were GONE when I returned that evening! We went to the front desk supervisor to report what happened and to file a lost and found report. The clerk was defensive, claiming that nothing like that had happened before. Well, it's happened NOW, and we needed help!! Since leaving we've heard nothing from them.
Do NOT stay in this hotel if you value your belongings!
