Overview

This luxury hotel is located in the heart of the Polanco district. The Museum of Anthropology and Chapultepec Park are situated nearby as well. After a day of touring the city, families can head back to the hotel and spend some quality time by the indoor/outdoor pool (best of both worlds). The kids can swim and splash, while the adults can unwind on the surrounding pool deck chairs. The comfortable guestrooms and suites feature king or two double beds, park or city views, air conditioning, complimentary bottled water and flat screen television. Wi-Fi access is available for an additional fee. Cribs and rollaway beds are available upon request. Additionally, the spacious suites feature a separate sitting room area and a sleeper sofa. Some of the suites feature a kitchenette with a refrigerator and microwave oven. There are a few onsite restaurants for families to choose from for breakfast, lunch or dinner. French and Mexican cuisine is featured in a casual setting at the restaurants.

Best Place to Stay in México City

by DougJ25

This is the best place to stay in México City. The rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds and updated bathrooms.

The hotel has several restaurants but is walkable to dozens of great restaurants in the Polanco neighborhood.

The service is top notch: you feel appreciated, welcomed, safe. Especially in the lobby.

I used the fitness center to run on treadmills (would be nice if there could be some StairMasters or elliptical machines) and the pool area to lay out in November!

Fabulous Staff!

This is a lovely hotel in a nice area of Mexico City. What really makes this hotel exceptional is the amazing and fabulous staff. Each person went out of their way to make our stay special and comfortable and did their job in a pleasant and professional way. Beginning with checking in, Pamela at the front desk made sure we had a comfortable and quiet room (possibly the quietest room I've ever had in a hotel). Gustavo, the bell man, and the tall gentleman with glasses and a top hat (doorman) always greeted us with a smile and were helpful in so many small ways. The doorman was so helpful in verifying Uber license plates and making sure that our directions were correct whenever we headed out for adventures. Two concierges stood out giving excellent advice about activities and planning strategies to make the best use of our days: Noe and Tamara. If you visit, definitely utilize Noe's vast knowledge of Mexico City! The women at the spa reception desk were always welcoming and courteous.
I wish I could name each person I encountered who contributed to my fabulous stay because the entire staff is professional and generous. This speaks highly of the management who is hiring, training and valuing such wonderful people. It is amazing what a difference this kind of personal and professional attention makes on a visit to a hotel.
In addition to the amazing staff the property is clean, well kept, comfortable and well designed. The rooms are quiet and there is plenty of storage space, unlike the trend now in hotels to have no drawer or closet space, where one ends up living out of a suitcase. The pool is warm and lovely. The hotel is near the park and a vibrant shopping district with local restaurants.
We ate several times at Lipp Restaurant which is comfortable and the food is consistently delicious. We were happy the music was not generic lounge music found anywhere that does not contribute to the feeling of being in a different place.
If you visit Mexico City this is an excellent choice for a special place to stay.
