TripAdvisor Rating

On an island made up mostly of cottage rentals and B&Bs, it’s nice to find a large inn able to accommodate families. Oversized Guest Rooms provide extra space over standard guest rooms with two full or double beds for families. While Cottage Rooms are bigger, all but one only offer king-sized beds. However, the rooms do connect to other rooms so you can book two or more rooms for a family visit. They include mini refrigerator and free WiFi.

1st time in Nantucket

by TerriVet

I really liked this hotel. It was extremely clean and neat, the staff were very friendly, in my room was exceedingly clean. They have a coffee, tea, snack bar, available at all times. Nothing fancy, but it's free, just cookies and chips--but free. Their breakfast is expensive, whether you are a fruit and yogurt person, a fresh waffles with topping person, or eggs, bacon, ham, potatoes, pancake person. Unfortunately, I was there during Hurricane Dorian, so was unable to avail myself of some of the other things they offer.

We stayed here for two nights because we had a wedding to attend in Nantucket. When we checked in, the front desk staff acknowledged that we were there for the wedding and even gave us a gift bag that the bride and groom prepared for us.

The room was very simple, much like you might find at a shore town except there was no beach nearby. It is across the street from the airport.

We heard good things about the buffet breakfast however, we did not enjoy it. None of the cooked food was outstanding. It was average at best.

Nobody came to clean the room until 2:45 pm which was really inconvenient since we were getting ready for the wedding that started at 4:30. When the housekeeper knocked on the door, we told her it wasn’t a good time so she asked if we needed anything so we got more towels.

Since the staff knew we were attending a wedding, you would think they would alert the housekeeping staff so they would come to clean earlier.

Whenever we were in the lobby during our stay, we would hear the front desk staff ask people how their stay was. We couldn’t wait for them to ask since we had plenty to say. It figures that they did not ask us.

We did not enjoy our stay here but we loved the wedding that we went to.
