Overview

On an island made up mostly of cottage rentals and B&Bs, it’s nice to find a large inn able to accommodate families. Oversized Guest Rooms provide extra space over standard guest rooms with two full or double beds for families. While Cottage Rooms are bigger, all but one only offer king-sized beds. However, the rooms do connect to other rooms so you can book two or more rooms for a family visit. They include mini refrigerator and free WiFi.

Time for a refresh

by Nomad619650

We booked the Nantucket Inn months ago to attend a wedding. We appreciated the convenient shuttle bus and nearby bus stop to get around the beautiful island.
The staff were friendly and available. Mom’s breakfast was a delicious buffet. We booked a king suite. It was clean but for the price point and Nantucket style it is definitely time for an upgrade and refresh. The bed was comfortable but upgraded linens would be so nice. The bathroom was quite dated with a beige plastic tub/shower enclosure and shower curtain. The room was spacious but dark and heavy. A light bright design would be an appreciated upgrade. And it is time to use live plants and flowers and get rid of the fake flowers.

1st time in Nantucket

I really liked this hotel. It was extremely clean and neat, the staff were very friendly, in my room was exceedingly clean. They have a coffee, tea, snack bar, available at all times. Nothing fancy, but it's free, just cookies and chips--but free. Their breakfast is expensive, whether you are a fruit and yogurt person, a fresh waffles with topping person, or eggs, bacon, ham, potatoes, pancake person. Unfortunately, I was there during Hurricane Dorian, so was unable to avail myself of some of the other things they offer.
