Reviews

A Bit Overrated...

by Beth T

We stayed at The Yeatman for four nights. I was looking forward to visiting the much-touted property. That said, here’s my review. Room was terrific. Spacious and well-decorated. Terrace was superb. Breakfast was so-so.. Same buffet day after day. Lots of servers running around a bit disoriented. Dining area was like a banquet room. We had dinner scheduled one night in the hotels’s less formal restaurant. However, there was a convention in the hotel that had taken over the restaurant and so, we were moved into what seemed like a basic room with some candles.. very odd. Menu was so-so. Food was so-so and the bill was $$$... Again, the wait staff seemed perplexed... The spa was delightful. Nice and eager to please staff. Concierge and front desk staff was rather detached, to put it mildly.. All told, I would neither recommend or praise The Yeatman. Not a 5-star in my book.. There’s something missing at this property. Personality, perhaps... Just not a top notch experience worthy of $800 a night...

Finest Hotel in Porto

Amazing views of the Porto River with your own private balcony. While we were only here for two nights, we know we will be returning. We spent both nights drinking wine and dining in The Orangerie, just superb. Great breakfasts as well!
