Located on the Mexican coast in the Mayan Riviera, Barcelo Maya Beach Resort is part of a large five-hotel resort community. Guests who stay here can use many facilities through Barcelo’s All-Inclusive Program. The 2,751-room resort is undergoing a $50-million renovation, with the Maya Beach and Maya Caribe still in renovations through 2014. The new renovations include the addition of the Barcelo Maya Entertainment Center, complete with a bowling alley, new kids’ club, water park, and redesigned 18-hole mini golf course.
The resort features a 16,000-square-foot spa facility with a separate Kids Spa for manis, pedis, makeup sessions and hairdressing. The entire resort features 21 restaurant options, all included in an all-inclusive stay at any of the resorts. Families may want to stay in one of the spacious Family Suites, offering two large rooms and a lounge with sofa beds. Families inclined more to water-related activities, will enjoy the use of kayaks, water tricycles and snorkel gear. With the sea only steps away, families can snorkel one of the most beautiful coral reefs off the Yucatan Peninsula. Barcelo seems to have it all.

Didn't enjoy trip at all! Room had mold and s nasty smell. Food wasn't good in most of the restaurants. Tokyo was the best! Lamb chops were great and surf and turf. The palace was great and had the best beach
We went with a group of friends 6 of us and we had a great time! Everyone was super nice and friendly. The resort is huge and continues to get bigger. The activities by the pool are so much fun and Sergio Becerra is great! He does workouts by the pool and bingo games. So much fun! Will stay again
