Barcelo Vacation.

Place was excellent. Bar Pueblo with Luis, Argelica, and Danvelio were great. We stayed for a week in the resort and experienced quality shows, great entertainment, and lots of fun. The rooms were clean yet humid, but the staff and spas were outstanding.

Great experience highly recommend it

Overall beautiful campus with crystal clear beach waters. Wonderfully maintained buildings and breathtaking aesthetics to compliment the natural surroundings. The staff went above and beyond to be attend to guests while being courteous at the same time. With that being said, we did experience a few minor inconveniences that are worth mentioning for the sake of improving the quality of the resort for future guests. Our room was located in the “Jalisco” section of the resort’s residence. Upon our arrival, we noticed that one of the legs of the bed was broken. We called maintenance to have the matter resolved. We were under the assumption that the leg was fixed, only to find that it was broken the next day..(The staff did made up for the inconvenience with a wonderful bottle of Mezcal delivered to our room )..Our last evening at the resort, we reserved a spot at the “Mexico Lindo” restaurant. We expected to encounter a festive environment that accurately reflected the Mexican culture (Mariachi, colorful colors, Papel picado, etc). We were saddened to realize that the restaurant was designed based on European influence, and was eerily quiet. The food WAS NOT AN ISSUE. In fact, we had some of the best service at “Mexico Lindo”. However the lack of traditional Mexican influence was apparent. - Side note: Our overall experience at “La Fuente” (Spanish Themed Restaurant) was absolutely exceptional. Our waitress was extremely professional, friendly, and courteous. The food was beyond amazing and we had an unbelievably great experience.
