My husband and I just stayed at Cabo Azul for four nights and had a very nice stay. The staff at check in were very good. Everyone friendly, so no complaints in that department. Also free valet or self serve parking. Very convenient.
Our room was quite large, just a standard room with King bed bedroom and a balcony looking over the pool. Had separate sleeper sofa, refrigerator and coffee maker. They also have Star bucks and a small market for morning coffee which we loved! Housekeeping was great. Room was very clean. Actually twice we left the “do not disturb”
Sign on the door because we didn’t need anything, and both times they left a message on our phone asking to let them know if we needed anything. Very attentive. My husband dropped something on the floor and it rolled under the bed, and there he found a small card that read
“Yes, we clean here too!” Impressive.
This is a Time Share property so there were many people there that were owners, so a very nice group of guests. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. I actually saw a man with a thermometer testing the water temperature in the pool! It was nice and cool despite the hot days and nights. Nice large three level infinity pool, so never too crowded.
The pool bar was nice with 2/1 drinks happy hour 5-8 pm. Good deal and delicious mango margaritas with fresh mango purée. We ate lunch twice, club sandwich and fruit platter. Delicious. We had breakfast at Javiers once, very good, but we ate outside the hotel the rest of the time.
Yes, we did the Timeshare presentation. Took only 2hours in the morning. They are not too pushy, and it was well worth the food and beverage credit they gave us. Honestly, we ate and drank all day for free with some money left over with the credit they gave us. Well worth it.
We would definitely stay again, next time maybe bring the family and stay in a 3 bedroom villa. The kids and grandkids would love it!
I would confidently recommend this hotel for your stay. Family friendly, so quiet at night too.
Never heard a door slam!
Hope you have a great trip if you go.
This was our second trip to Cano Azul and we love it. It is beautiful and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The property is well maintained and the two restaurants have very good food.
We will certainly return here again!
