The vibrant downtown Los Angeles area, nestled near the main highways and thoroughfares that take you to various city and suburban attractions, theme parks and beaches, is home to the towering DoubleTree by Hilton. The hotel is walking distance to the Museum of Contemporary Art and close to the Staples Center, Nokia Theatre, Grammy Museum and Los Angeles Convention Center.
Rooms at the DoubleTree provide large windows for fantastic views of the city. Traditional guest rooms feature either a king bed or two doubles with flat-screen TVs, coffee makers and iPod docking stations. Suites provide separate living areas and bedrooms with king beds. The living areas in the suites feature sofa beds and small refrigerators. Families will find cribs available, as well as high chairs in the restaurant and a Children’s Menu. Justice Urban Tavern is the hotel’s main restaurant. Open from breakfast through late night, the American restaurant also provides room service. Late afternoon through evening light bites are available at the hotel’s Rendezvous Lounge.
Wi-Fi is offered complimentarily in the lobby, restaurant and public space but is only offered in-room for a small daily fee.

My room was filthy - food particles in carpet, hair on bathroom door and in tub. Upon reporting this issue, a "deep clean" was requested, but not granted until the final night of my stay. Besides this, the technology is antiquated (iHome for 2009 iPhone) and the power sockets on the lamps are loose. I couldn't be paid to stay at this hotel again!

I stay in this hotel at least 3x month due to its great location vic City Hall/LAPD. Hotel is in need of facility upgrade. Hotel staff are friendly, dedicated, professional and anxious to accommodate every need. If ownership would invest in much-needed facility upgrades this would be an outstanding place to stay..
