Over the years, Millennium has been a choice hotel for celebrities and presidents- and families! Its location is one block from the metro line, providing quick transportation to tourist sites, like Hollywood and Universal Studios. Millennium offers a few onsite dining options, including an Italian steakhouse, afternoon tea gathering place and an Oriental lunch bistro. Rooms at the hotel are elegantly decorated with warm-colored plush bedding and marble bathrooms. A range of suites offer separate bedrooms and kitchens. Some specialized units contain grand pianos or old-fashioned vanities.

Although from the exterior and first impressions as you enter the hotel looks good this is an illusion. The rooms are average at best - the bed was too soft and the bath appeared to be from the 1960s. But the real reason for the one star review is their lack of response to an email I sent. Without my authority the took $55 from my credit card. To cover incidentals, I was told at reception. There were no incidentals and I am still waiting, 2 weeks later, for a refund. This is despite a polite email asking why the money had been deducted and for a refund. Surely they are not that desperate for my 55 dollars!!!!
Nice hotel with charming vintage decor. Good size rooms. Well decorated and appointed. Bathroom is a bit small and dated. Good comfortable beds. Hotel lobby and lounge area are large and beautiful ceilings.
