Wonderful hotel, perfect location on the Riverwalk. Helpful staff directed us to restaurants. Two short blocks walk from a boat tour on the Riverwalk. Good size room. Unfortunately, did not really attend the early evening reception except to grab a margarita for the room. Wish I could’ve taken advantage of the afternoon buffet. Parking at the hotel a little expensive but I think this was the normal price for this area of San Antonio. Would stay here again.

I am and have been a long time Hilton Honors Member. I always try my best to stay at a Hilton Property. This past weekend, my wife and I stayed at the Homewood Suites Riverwalk while visiting San Antonio to see our grandchildren. The front desk personnel were great, and the location of the hotel is good. The hotel is somewhat "aged" however.
We checked out this morning, and requested valet to bring our vehicle up. Being in somewhat in a hurry to meet our family at the Pearl Brewery, we didn't take the time to perform a walk around of our vehicle before departing the hotel. We left the hotel, drove 10 minutes to the Pearl Brewery and parked. We then walked around our vehicle and noticed that the front bumper lower cowling on the passenger side was pulled off.
I immediately contacted the hotel to report this. I was quickly informed by whomever I spoke with that "we have a sign that states once you leave the property, you are responsible". Well, shame on me for not checking to see if the valet service personnel has done any damage to my vehicle! I was informed that they would call me back.
Well, It's now 9 hours later and still no call back! Again, shame on me for not walking around my vehicle. However......more shame on the valet employee for creating this damage and not having the integrity to inform me. Additionally, shame on you hotel management for not calling me back to assist me with this issue.
As we all know in today's world, everything is on camera! I feel confident that my vehicle condition is on camera when I pulled into the hotel on Saturday, and it's also on camera this morning with the damage as valet pulled in with it.
Seriously Dissapointed in Homewood Suites Managment!
