Our experience at the hotel was impeccable.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed the lounge. It was inviting, very cozy and comfortable. The coffee much appreciated.
As for the room it was beyond expectations. The pillow selection, the bedding and mattress simply outstanding.
The decor was fitting for the setting of old quebec.
Centrally located, it makes everything a walk away.
We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!!!
Hotel du Vieux-Quebec was lovely! The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful and engaging. The breakfast was delightful - make sure you book through the hotel to get the free breakfast. It comes in a basket at your door and includes the best pastry along with cheese, fruit, OJ, jam, and yogurt (you can change it too). This breakfast is perfect if you want to eat in your room or take it to the lounge with your friends. There were fresh strawberries in the lounge when we were there which was an extra treat. The hotel is in a great location - on a shopping worthy street and close to the train station and walking is easy to the main attractions.. The bathrooms in the smaller rooms are not spacious (everything is normal just close together). Everything is new and clean and the bed was comfortable. Second floor room in front was not noisy. Ask the front desk for tea or hot chocolate or popcorn (nice big bowl for evening snack). An altogether great experience.
