Located right in the heart of Cabo’s downtown marina, Marina Fiesta Resort is for the active family who wants to get out and explore. If you’re looking for a more laid-back property, you’ll want to head to Hacienda Encantada Resort, which gives off a more rest-and-relaxation vibe.
Marina Fiesta is a compact, family-friendly, all-inclusive, all-suite resort, and guests are steps away from the downtown marina boardwalk. On the boardwalk that is situated in a giant square around the marina, families will find numerous restaurants, bars and shops — all overlooking the boats in the marina. There are several pool areas to choose from at Marina Fiesta, and many of the restaurants along the boardwalk are included in the all-inclusive package, which is optional.

We spent a week at the Marina Fiesta Resort last week. It couldn’t be closer to everything you want to do in Cabo. We did have to move our room away from the evening music of Jack’s, and the other side - 326 - was perfectly quiet. The staff was so accommodating to our needs. We have stayed at their sister resort, Hacienda Encantada, and thought we’d try downtown this time. Although we will go back to Encantada in a few months, don’t be swayed by bad reviews about the hard push to buy a timeshare. Just be firm when approached and they will graciously accept your decision. It’s a great organization. And, we know the difference.
We make a annual trip in November to one of our favorite destination, the Marina Fiesta in Cabo San Lucas. The entire staff is friendly, helpful, just wonderful people. I'd like to call out all the Bellboys, Rowdy, Carlos, Gustavo and Alfredo! They went above and beyond to help us. I used an electric scooter this trip and they helped and guided us to make it easier for us. Also, our consierge, Antonio was intregal in our trips success. He coordinated the scooter arrivals, day excursions, our every need. There were many others that I have not named but it was wonderful once again!
There are a few pools to choose from at Marina Fiesta, and all are family-friendly. The main pool overlooks the marina and the main onsite restaurant. Lounge chairs, tables and umbrellas surround this large pool area. A second smaller pool area is situated away from the marina and offers a volleyball net and more lounge chairs and umbrellas. Pool towels are provided with the pool card and the pools are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Marina Fiesta does not overlook the beach; however, there is a swimmable beach just a five-minute walk from the resort.
The rooftop sundeck features excellent marina views with a cool breeze. There are several lounge chairs to relax in, and there are two Jacuzzi tubs to enjoy. While this space does tend to be quieter, children are welcome here.
Playground and Kids' Activities
A grassy playground area with swings, a slide, foosball, giant chess and climbing equipment can be found a few steps away from the main pool. Kids' activities, like pool games and arts and crafts, are always taking place during the high season.
Just steps away from the resort, guests can explore the marina boardwalk, which is filled with restaurants, shops and bars all overlooking the boats in the marina. Several of the restaurants situated closest to the resort are also included in the all-inclusive package.
There are a variety of restaurant options to be found when staying at this resort, and all are included in the all-inclusive package. There is one onsite restaurant that serves breakfast, and the rest of the restaurants can be found steps away along the marina. Reservations for dinner are required.
Guests have the option of including an all-inclusive package. This includes unlimited alcoholic beverages and meals at the onsite restaurants, as well as the marina restaurants and at the sister property, Hacienda Encantada. Soda, beer and bottled water are also stocked daily in the suites with the all-inclusive package.

This authentic Mexican restaurant is located along the marina and is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Enjoy the traditional Mexican fare while overlooking the marina. The food is amazing and we highly recommend the tequila queso. It is prepared tableside and the fiery show does not outshine the delicious cheesy-goodness.
Jack's Steak House
Located along the marina, red meat lovers will devour a lunch or dinner here from noon to 11 p.m.
Imomo Sushi House
Located along the marina, this sushi spot is open for lunch and dinner from noon to 11 p.m.
