I loved the location just up from union square. Gives you a landmark so you dont get lost. Rooms were lovely. No tea or coffee making facilities and no cutlery. Remember San Francisco is hilly if you decide to walk to Fisherman's wharf.

My friend and I visited this hotel August 14 - August 16 2019, the room itself was decent and quite a good size for San Francisco but twice we were out late doing tourist stuff and we called the hotel to make sure the restaurant would be open at 10p, we were told yes, but when we arrived back at that time they would not serve us even a drink and said the restaurant was closed, even though the place was packed. Very disappointing and not acceptable, we were starving and ended up not eating! San Francisco of all places should keep restaurants open in hotels till at least 12 midnight, ridiculous!!
