West Coast USA trip

by frankc858

Visited San Francisco and stayed in the Spero which is just a few minutes from Union Square and across from the Hilton. Typical city centre hotel, room was as good as expected if slightly smaller than we would have liked, all the facilities worked well.
The hotel bar Jaspers was good for breakfast and we had some other meals as well during our stay.
Unfortunately the weather was rather cold so spoiled the trip but not the hotels fault.

Great hotel if you must stay in the neighborhood

Stayed at Spero during a short business trip. Rooms were great, as were the overall service and facilities.

My only issue was with the neighborhood. So many unsavory characters, even compared with Seattle where I’m from. It’s in the air, so to speak. Now I understand it’s outside of hotel’s control and I hate to lower the rating due to this. But it’s unfortunately relevant to the otherwise excellent experience.

I can definitely recommend the hotel if you’re in that area anyway.
