This bright, all-inclusive family beach resort is situated on Mexico’s Pacific coast and offers families a no-hassle, all-inclusive experience. No wristbands are worn here and no reservations are needed at any of the restaurants.
The kids will love the pool waterslides and the kids’ club, where they can compete in sandcastle making competitions. Teens are not forgotten here, either — they have their own space to hang out and chill. The adults can enjoy some quiet time at the pool or spa and the beach is always a great place to spend the day.

Beautiful suite at Sunscape, clean, safe, babysitting services, all staff really attentive and helpful. Full bar, buffet all day and good restaurants!! I really recommend Sunscape resort. I recommend the water park for the children and snack bar we will definitely will come back!
My family stayed at this resort in the Sun Club category which gives you access to the Sun Club Lounge and room service from 7:00am-11:00pm, which was fantastic for us. The warmth and the attentiveness with which we were treated was exceptional and the food in general was delicious. All the staff was freindly and helpful. The hotel is not a luxury or 5 star but it is definitely a great option for families with small children like mine from with a kids club for kids starting at 3 years and a nice water park. We also enjoyed a relaxed environment at Da Mario Italian Restaurant at the resort and late night entertainment near the pool area. The peope in Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo are very welcoming and hospitable and added that extra touch to our visit. Zihuatenejo is also very enjoyable to visit with many local shops, great people, and an amazing bay! We are definitely coming back again and probably in low season to avoid the large crowds and have the destination to ourselves!
The pool area is surrounded by lounge chairs and umbrellas, and pool towels are provided. Kids will love zipping down the two waterslides, too. A small kiddie pool can also be found near the Explorer's Kids' Club.
The beach sits only steps away from the pool area. There are lounge chairs and Adirondack chairs on the beach and plenty of palapas for shade.
Kids will love the mini-bungee and climbing wall set in a grassy courtyard area. Tennis, giant chess, volleyball, Ping-Pong and basketball can also be found throughout the resort.
The Explorer's Club, for ages 3 to 12, is situated near the pool area and features a nice grassy area right in front. Parents are welcome to leave their children with the certified female staff from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Kids can hang out for full or half days and will have loads of fun playing dress up, creating arts and crafts and enjoying movie nights. There is a playground and an outdoor theater area, and sandcastle competitions take place on the beach. The daily activities are always changing and there is a small kiddie pool located near the club, too. Parents also receive a pager-type device to carry with them in case of any emergencies.
The Core Zone, open from noon to 8 p.m., is a great spot for the teens in your family. For ages 13 to 17, this indoor, air conditioned space offers foosball, air hockey, XBox, computers and plenty of games. There is a staff in the Core Zone to assist with the fun but the teens can come and go as they please.
